what a treat!

met my friend bonnie at a brewery in houston for a book she's writing. got to sample some local beer and i must say i am a fan of the christmas ale myself. yum.

did learn that according to texas law that you cannot sell beer out of your brewery if you package and ship it to sell; if you own a brewpub where you sell beer then you cannot pack and distribute it to sell.
texas - that's a crazy law. but we did get to drink beer for free so i wasn't too unhappy.
