How to blend in

A sunny day but cold. Today we noticed two robins exchange food in the birch tree and later two goldfinch doing the same. A Blackcap was inside the old peanut feeder which holds fat balls, we don't think it was the same one blipped a few days ago with the turned under foot. The woodepeckers continue to visit the peanuts and John counted seven pairs of goldfinch earlier BUT apart from two brief sighting no redpoll.
