MONARCH caterpillar

Today was the last day of the sailing season do I had my eye on another Monarc h caterpillar for a quick blip on return home later this avo.
the one I did a couple of days ago seems to have flown the chrysalis - maybe a bird got it - it seemed to have hatched very quickly - O well here's another to take its place.  Technique today was 70-200 lense with a 500D macro filter.
its not the sharpest knife in the draw but i quite liked the composition. It I'd had it on a tripod I have made the grade I think - but hurry hurry !!! no goody !! Hmmmm! on looking at it - its soft !! have a go at me if you want
