Just a Little Batty

I spent a fascinating three hours today with SEFFERDOG at the Lubee Bat Conservatory located in Gainesville, Florida. Having donated to the Conservancy we were invited to spend quality time with the bats and their keepers. Normally visitors must view the bats through the wire of their enclosures but today we were allowed to actually enter the bats' homes to photograph them at rest and at 'lunch'. I guess Flickr was swamped this evening and I wasn't able to put all of the photos I wanted to on there. But HERE are a few shots from today and I'll post more mañana. Oh, this is a Malayan Flying Fox Bat :)
