The old and the new.....

Great afternoon in the company of my sisters! Valerie (and Neil) arrived at lunchtime and she and I set to to make banners for tomorrow's London marathon, so just in case  Sarah can see us as she passes....

Then up to Kings Cross with sis no.1 to meet sis no.4 who had bought tickets for us to see The Railway Children at the theatre at St. Pancras station. Brilliant show with a real steam train!

Afterwards to eat at Carluccio's in St Pancras station. The architecture in the station was amazing, leaving me with a dilemma of what to post here. The contrast between the old of the station and the new of the lower level shopping area won. I shall have to return simply to take it all in.

Home before midnight and just time to finish the banners.
