An early morning wake up to take eldest to Scout camp. The rest of the morning was spent collecting this little lady, Misty, and moving her to our house. She's nearly 5 years old and her owners don't have time to give her the attention she needs. So we will. She spent all afternoon running and hopping around the garden; something she hasn't done for a long while. She lay down to rest in the shade of the trampoline. She loves being stroked but hates being picked up - the scratches on my arms are testament to that!

Youngest child managed to eat toast, banana and some chicken today. Let's hope she's on the mend now.
