Newcastle life

By Puffling

This is why I love Newcastle.....

Such a full day today, hence the photo collage to sum it up :)
We headed over to Heaton this morning to try out Naked Deli on Chilli Road for breakfast. The food is meant to be all natural and more healthy, it was a nice place with lots of young, healthy looking people. I had bancakes, a healthier version of pancakes. After that I got to rummage in the second hand/vintage shops on Chilli Rd.

Then we drove to town, it was raining but the pink blossom trees around town still looked bright and beautiful. Did a bit shopping and ended up ordering a new rocking chair for our living room from John Lewis. Popped to the Grainger market to Pumphreys for a coffee and to get some freshly ground coffee for home too.
Saw a flier for a new Chinese dumpling and tea shop over in aisle 2 so we went across and had some absolutely delicious dumplings, dumpling soup and free tea- yum! Its called Nan Bei and I will definitely be back for more dumplings!

Bought some coffee from the Ousburn Coffee Company and a Geordie mug for my brother who came to visit from London today. He came over with my mam for a drink then we went to City Hall to watch Dylan Moran (of Black Books fame) do stand up comedy. We've seen him live before and he was just as funny this time too.

So much to see and do in Newcastle, despite the rain. I love it here......so super happy that my husband got the consultant job he wants here :)
