Portmore loch

Today I went for a bike ride round portmore loch with some "strangers". D asked who I was biking with - I said I was trying out a women's mtn biking club, but that I didn't know anyone yet. He was a bit perplexed that I was going biking with "complete strangers". They were a very friendly bunch and the cycle up to and around portmore loch was what mtn biking shld be - exploring the countryside by bike. I loved it. I hope to make it along to some of their other ride outs.
