Quiet Moment

I had a very exciting morning meeting a wonderful photographer - Vic Attfield.  Vic was featured in the recent RPS Journal and I really love his work.  I am lucky enough to live close to Vic and he was more than agreeable to meet me for coffee.  He is inspirational in his approach to photography taking the 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' approach and may well be the steer I need for my future photography.

I then went over to High Wycombe to take my laptop into John Lewis - again!  I won't bore you with detail but it turns out that all the problems I have had since acquiring my wonderful High resolution screen is to do with the linking cable.  Once I had bought at attached an appropriate cable.... it all clicked into action!!  So annoying that I have had several weeks of unnecessary disruption.

I then visited my daughter and granddaughters before heading for home.  On the journey I noticed this wonderful horse standing in a gateway having a quiet moment.  I stopped at the first opportunity, walked back and grabbed a shot.  I am not a horsey person but couldn't resist this.

Tomorrow we are off to London where my elder daughter is running in the London marathon. Go Ali.... runner number 1466 if you happen to notice!
