The Big Healy

Affectionately known as "The Big Healy", the Austin-Healy 3000 was one of the muscle cars of the 1950's and 60's. Considered as a "man's car", that title was blown away when Pat Moss (sister of ex F1 driver Sir Stirling Moss) won the Spa-Sofia-Liege international rally driving one. Outright!. Beating all the men.
This Healy was competing today in a rally for veteran cars and here in this shot is competing in one of the speed tests dotted through the day. I was quite amazed to note that half the cars I saw were over from the UK for the weekend. Great to have them with us.
