A New Walk!

Such a beautiful walk alongside the Cromarty Firth. I cannot think why we haven't been before.

At the start of the walk we met a fellow dog walker who told me to make sure we walked down by the river as there was a flock of shelducks, they looked really beautiful. He forgot to mention, and I stupidly didn't realise, that his dog was on the lead. Poppy and Bud are never on the lead, they would be horrified if I kept them on a lead for their walks. They are always exploring and running about in front of me. Needless to say I might have caught just a glimpse of the ducks high overhead if I had taken my binoculars. But it was a very kind thought of my fellow dog walker, whose name I never knew.

This walk will definitely be part of our repertoire, it was quiet, peaceful, FLAT (my knee was pleased) offered mountain and firth views and, importantly, conveniently situated 5 mins from the storehouse of Foulis, which, as you know, does excellent take-always.
