Snow on da Hills

It's been a chilly day and woke up with snow on the hills.  It had been a lovely sunny day for the most of it and then some snowy/sleet showers this evening and rain mixed in.

Weekend off and headed to Lerwick to have a look about the shops.  I got dropped off at Gulberwick with Sammy and we walk the rest of the way home.  It was warmer than I was expecting and thankfully stayed dry for the duration but I could see showers hitting the south end of Shetland.  The afternoon has been more lazy but have been out for more walkies with Sammy and think a lazy night ahead will be on :)

When I first opened the curtains this morning, I thought it was going to be a lovely warm day.  I headed down the road and shocked to see snow on the hills, but then again it's not that unusual for this time of year :)  Looking towards Hoofield and Roylfield from Aith, Cunningsburgh.
