Guillemot Tower

While the Puffins at Sumburgh may have been away off on a day trip the Guillemots were piling into their favourite stack at Sumburgh Head.

An interesting day of weather - snow capped hills first thing followed by bright sunshine in the morning then a couple of snow showers and more sunshine in the afternoon. It's a black sky again at the moment so no saying what is coming our way.

My path finally crossed that of Blipper  Ross MacKenzie today on one of his trips to Shetland. Nice to meet at last Ross.
