Anzac Poppies

A very special day to mark the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings.
Amongst hundreds of wreaths of poppies and other flowers laid at memorials all over Australia today i saw this small wreath of poppies someone had knitted, so tiny but very significant..

My two other blips taken today, one is the memorial in the small country town of Mundijong where the knitted wreath of poppies lay.
Also the Serpentine Dam..
