Sunset over the Ouse

We arrived safely in York, mid-afternoon, found our B&B easily, and got settled in. Spent the rest of the afternoon in the museum gardens chasing Stella, The celebrations proper began later with a superb meal in a wee restaurant in the Stonegate. You would never have beloved from the noisy chatter that many of us had just met this evening! This was the view of the river as we walked from our accommodation into town.
