Past and present: part two

Visited RAF Coningsby and was lucky to arrive just as the Lancaster was being fired up. Once the Hurricane and Spitfire were similarly alight and up, I was treated to several circuits from them before they flew off to whichever air display they were gracing this afternoon. No sooner had they departed than this Spitfire turned up and swooped past, juxtaposing with the more modern method of air transport several miles distant.
