Alex was a little bummed because lots of the girls from his school were bragging to him about being able to go to the Father/Daughter Dance tonight.  Alex told me he wanted to take me so bad.  I believe I made it up to him today by taking him and his buddy Tayien on a "Mommy/Son + One" date to the Children's Museum.  These two had so much fun together and I loved being a part of it.  Tonight we went to the beach cabin to watch a stormy sunset and played cards by the heater.  Yucky weather in the forecast. . . we'll have to get a bit creative with our weekend plans.
