A Minion Reasons to Love Running

Back blip to Manchester Marathon last weekend

Remarkably I wasn't running and was just there supporting ( with a big Yorkshire flag )

We managed to watch at the start , 1k,7k and the finish

Being right at th finish line was remarkable . Really remarkable

We saw people smiling , crying , laughing , praying , vomiting , holding photos of loved ones .

We saw people sprint to the line, walk, crawl. Those who collapsed and before the end were given the biggest cheers and support to get them up again to do the remaining ten yards .

I can't put into words how much valour and human spirit I witnessed. Such community spirit in action

I would never photograph a stranger collapsing at the end of the race so instead you can have the most photogenic and exuberant runner of the day .
