Ancient Support

This is in a courtyard at the Museum.  Entering under an arch, you see a line of this heavy growth, and looking to either side, these trunks continue.  When it was young, it must have reached a certain height and been turned back upwards.   Somehow, I want to turn this picture 180 degrees to the left, making this trunk lie down, as on the ground.  It's a bougainvillea.  It has been there for a very long time and will continue to thrive with only minimal trimming of the green.
