Watching Over the Little Ones

Pedaling along the bike path this afternoon alongside Amazon Creek I encountered a Canada Goose family.
Though I was across the creek from them, when I dismounted and pulled out the camera the two parents watched me closely.
Their four goslings were buzzing around the parent’s feet and in and out of the grass tussocks.
I was lucky to get three of them in the photo.
An approaching rain squall hurried me on my way.
