Another Location

Together with our hosts, C's cousin L and husband BM, we went to visit another cousin and husband (another B) and 95-year-old Aunt S at their lovely old home in Virginia.

This is the dining room just before breakfast. We had a great time, and wished we could have stayed longer.

On the way home we visited the Carl Sandberg Home National Historic Site. Prior to this visit, I knew next to nothing about this famous poet, but learned a lot from the tour led by very knowledgeable volunteer guide.

We ended the day with an excellent meal at an Italian restaurant back "home" in Tryon.
