Flower Friday

Our garden is usually at its best in Spring, with a profusion of tulips, daffodils, primulas and blossoms. Sadly, someone or something came and took most of my tulips and all of the daffodils whilst we were away in the Highlands. These two were left behind, maybe because they are tucked safely away in a corner. 

This is the same tulip last year. I planted them next to the purple aubretia, as I love the colour combination. 

I finally got around to planting my seeds today. As a blipper said a few days ago....they won't grow if you don't sow, so they are now sown and in the propagators :-)
