Typical Middle England

We decided to take the scenic route through the Welsh Borderlands. We went up to Hereford and then onwards towards Shrewsbury. The weather was great again so we decided to go up a couple of Marilyns. The first was Callow Hill, the highest point of Wenlock Edge. This is the view east towards the Clee Hills. It epitomises the borderlands between England and Wales. We then walked up Caer Caradoc, despite its name still in England. It was a bit slow near Chester but once on the M6 we were only slowed by phantom queues caused by the overhead gantries. Or that's the way it seemed to me.
