'And mushrooms!!'

This week has passed in a blur of colours and wings.

I slept so well last night that when I woke up I was convinced I was still dreaming and it took ages under the shower before I finally woke properly.

I was relieved that it was Friday as it's been a really busy and fun filled week again.

A couple of beautiful sunny days made us all really happy. I think I need to take a cushion when sitting on ledges down the canal. I think the insects in the undergrowth have been dining out on my skinny arse!

I was almost glad it was a dull day threatening rain as I had no time to get out today at all with the exception of popping out to sort my birds and squirrels out. The new hose is good but the 'Full' setting isn't as powerful as the old one. It can give a cat a decent soaking but isn't great for a cat colonic irrigation unless you get really close and no cat here is that daft...

I'll try out the 'Extra Photos' feature on Sunday when I have time to mess about on my laptop. I've just finished watching Masterchef - the right winner - and won't try it on the iPad. I am amazed there is a new feature!

I have added a starling and a goldfinch from today using the laptop. Let's see.... You can't do it on an iPad anyway.

I just remember him (Griff) bellowing 'And mushrooms!' as an afterthought when he was ordering his breakfast years ago. He was staying in the same pub/hotel where I was based for an Oracle training course a stroll up the river from Sonning to Thames Valley Park. If only Blipfoto was around back then! There were herons wandering about on that river bank and boats dotted everywhere!
