Got the fruit cage done today

Spent most of day putting  up the fruit cage, Wire netting round the bottom part so Maddy won't go hurtling through it, and rip the netting to bits like she did last year, then fine netting over the top and round it. So lets hope it keeps the birds out and I can get some redcurrants and gooseberries this year. Family came up this afternoon again, digging the veg plot, that's their domain.
Lovely start to day had a good walk with dogs down at St Aidans Country Park, Maddy paddled in all the mud and then had a swim. It clouded over this afternoon with a little bit of rain at tea time, but it's fine again now
