Thorny Problem

A day of deliveries, which is always quite fun when they arrive at the time they say they will.  When they phone you at 7 in the morning and tell you that it'll be sometime after 11 instead of between 9 & 11, that just sends you back to examine what "Customer Service" actually means.

And that segues nicely into my next Customer Service rant observation.

I phoned a company in Britain today.  No problem with the very pleasant woman on the end of the telephone - she's just following a script for the most part.  But I need some information from them.

They've established that I am who I say am but the address they have is now out of date (by about 5 years).  So they have to send me a Change Of Address form.

To my new address.

Am I missing something or is that just utterly bonkers?

This seems almost appropriate, if only for the last 2 lines.
