Northern Cardinal...

... probably a juvenile, since its back was grey.  Just in front of our apartment building, taken at 99 mm with my 5D Mark III (and significantly cropped).  Outings today: First lunch with our friend Daralee, (who has hung a striking selection of her collages--see the link-- in her apartment).  Then a show of tapestries illustrating Don Quixote based on Charles Coypel's paintings, at the Frick, and finally various things at the Metropolitan Museum.

Tomorrow we're off to visit my son Len and his family in Baltimore.
