Willenhall #4

The second Diamond Jubilee in British history is officially underway...

So here is

Jubilee Cottage - Orchard Road Willenhall - and actually marked as a building on Google Maps

Only in 1897 Orchard Road didn't exist

I researched and one site said it was Maundy Alley off Birmingham Street (and explains this is because it was near the Church - however there were a lot of closer streets and I know they have the origin of my street's name way wrong)

The 1901 Census however calls it Monday Alley

Who knows - whatever the name the street came into existence between 1892 and the building of this cottage

10 families lived in the street in 1901 unfortunately the addresses don't let me tell you which census record is proper to this house at that date

So you can make up the rest of this yourselves.....
