Memorial to the fallen

A brilliant day spent with new friends
First up was Go Ape
Then lunch in the sun
Then a stroll through a park and lots of photo opportunities.

The war memorials still had poppy wreaths around them, and this picture came about as I tried to focus on them laying at the base of the wall of names. The shadow of one of my friends rose up over the wreath and I just thought 'wow'.


Given this week is the centenary of the Gallipoli campaign, I decided to post this as my blip.
