Seedling Silver Beech.

This little tree is growing out of a pot, on the bank behind the pizza oven - that's the dome bit in the front.
Been there a couple of years now, and last time I tried to pull it out, I figured it would break the pot, so left it. I think that might be a mistake as it now really needs to come out!
Got a really good shaking this afternoon from the earthquake that struck near Kaikoura this afternoon. The dogs not impressed & neither was I.
Craig has a very large hemotoma on his leg, about 23 cm x 14 cm in size. They took some fluid off it, but have put him into hospital. More news on that tomorrow when the doctor comes in to see him. He had one in the same place a while back, and it doesn't take very much for him to come up in them, and that one took a long time to go down. This one is worse.
