First Day of Summer

Is a public holiday in Iceland, it is always on the last Thursday of April, which is today. There are many events but we decided to walk up to the agricultural "university", on the other side of the river. They always open their doors on this day. It was snowing a little, but the sun was shining.so it was OK. The most interesting part is the banana house. Besides bananas they have all kinds of tropical plants there. It is interesting to see what can be done with an abundance of hot water.
