Separated at birth.

I was cycling past this today and was struck by the similarity with Sundays blip from Riga. With a bleak grey sky this block could pass for a Soviet era housing estate and likewise if it had been blue skies and I hadn't been hearing tales of Russia's invasion of Latvia then that block would actually not look that awful. In fact the details were quite nice, at the other end, just under the gable it said 1964 in different coloured bricks, and really has more going for it architecturally than it's Hackney twin.
It's all about interpretation and context.
