Tourists

I had the day off to play tour guide for a nephew of a friend in an effort to keep an 18 year old entertained while his aunt was busy concluding a rather large deal at work.

First stop was Soccer City. From the training room, to the showers and then down onto the pitch, Nathan seemed pretty chuffed.

Next Hector Pieterson Museum to get in some of the history of Soweto and it's darker days.

Next, the iconic cooling towers where the bold boy did both a bungee and a scad free fall. Nuts, I tell you!

Then we intended to take a tour of SAB World of Beer but we couldn't wait the 40 minutes for the next group so headed for Ellis Park instead.

With the help of James Dalton's dad, who manages a fantastic museum of rugby at the park, Nathan got a view of the stadium from the media platform.

A great day out!
