Rodney's Pillar

Our view of Rodney's Pillar at the end of the Breidden Hills just over the border in Wales.

Topped by a monument to the Admiral Rodney, the view from the summit today would have been wonderful with an almost 360 degree panorama overlooking the confluence of the Rivers Vyrnwy and Severn in one direction and across the mid-Welsh hills in the other. Very disappointed that other matters took precedence over a steep walk to take in the view on such a lovely sunny day.
