Operation Manna

The Blip is the floral mosaic at Lincoln Cathedral showing a Lancaster bomber dropping supplies in Nazi-occupied Holland. In operation Manna 7000 tonnes of food was dropped over the Netherlands in a period of ten days. Approx. 40000 bulbs are used in the mosaic and the flowers represent a parachute with a food package. 

Morning had an interview and training to be an exam invigilator at a University Technical College and in the afternoon shopping for some bits for the house.
