Can anyone identify this, please?

This shrub is evergreen, has leaves which resemble Holly, but they do not have thorns as such - just pointy bits. The flowers as you can see are small and yellow and in the autumn it has purple berries. It was given to me 17 years ago when I moved here - the next door neighbours had it in a tub in their garden but were worried about the berries as they had young grandchildren. It was then about a foot high - it is now about 4 foot so not very fast growing.
Any ideas as to its name?
