Bluebells on St George's Day

Went to visit a friend who lives near an ancient woodland to see if we could photograph the bluebells. There were not nearly as many as last year yet - perhaps the lack of water has had an effect. It is a very unmanaged woodland so don't know if that affects bluebell growth; lots of broken trees/blackberry/ivy etc. But there were a couple of open spaces with some bluebells....and the sun was shining so it was a lovely day for a stroll in the countryside.
