The beauty lies within!

Today was my first visit to Queen's Park in 3 weeks.  I wanted to check up on the coot's nest which I blipped on 2nd April - there was one empty nest on the large pond and another with the female coot sitting in the middle of the twigs.  In the small pond I spotted three young coots - probably from the first nest.  You could never describe them as beautiful but I'm sure their mother loves them!  You can just see the outline of the huge foot under the water.
