Highlight of my day (and it was a pretty good day) was most definitely watching this little lady soar over those hurdles at her first 7th Grade Track Meet.  Despite her nerves, my niece Lauren, made it look so easy to take 100 meters of those hurdles and won the race.  She also did very well in the mile run, once again, breaking the family mold and choosing to compete (and excel) in races neither her mother or I competed in.  I'm still beaming with pride and cannot wait to watch her compete again soon.  Here are more pictures from the meet.
