She's a Star
Well, she was until 11pm.
It was our first parents' evening and Aunty Deb came through to look after kids while we talked to the nursery staff about Miss A's settling in at pre-school. We were more like kids than responsible adults; giggling about it being our first parents' evening and wondering what questions we should be asking in order to appear adult-like. I think we got away with it though.
Miss A got a glowing report and they commented that she was very caring towards the other children, comforting them if they're upset, which was great. They also said she was normal. Phew!
11pm came. It was the first time I'd picked up my camera all day and my first attempt at making a star in honour of Miss A's achievements. I took two shots then Miss A woke up screaming and shouting, with a bit of physical violence thrown in for good measure and would not calm down for almost an hour. It took 3 stories and cuddling in beside mummy before she finally succumbed to sleep.
So, this is the poor but best of the two stars I shot.
