A Walk In The Park
After a few days stuck behind the computer screen in the office I was fortunate to have several site visits planned for today.
Pressure washers, electrical circuits, pond fencing, flooring, buried pipes, an uneven playground, contracts, cctv were some of the issues that kept me busy at community buildings, libraries and museums.
I happened to be at Bashaw Museum in Batley at lunch time so I took the opportunity to have a quick look at the exhibits and to walk down to the park for an ice cream. Everyone was making the most of the warm sunshine.
This was the scene around the boating lake. I used to come here as a child fishing for sticklebacks.
