Ribbons and laces, and sweet pretty faces...

Anya seems to be getting bored with the same old toys so I put together a sensory box with shiny metal measuring cups, a selection of ribbons, wooden spoons and various other bits and bobs from around the house. It was a hit!

We went to Rhyme Time with Nicola & Isabelle this morning followed by a long walk from St. Ives to Houghton and back.
Anya was in a lovely mood today and smiled all the way to bed.

I'm in work tomorrow for my first full day and am not looking forward to it all. It's going to be a strange day as I'm not actually teaching but preparing for getting back into class, making arrangements for the transition from pre-school to Reception and planning for the Autumn term. Better get to bed...
