A sun shiney day

Went for the 7am Wednesday walk with J, and joined by G too. J said excitedly that she'd found me a blip. It was a large plastic head of a doll – almost lifesize. Very grotesque and I took a lot of pics of it. There was a label on the neck 'Early Learning Centre' – the stuff of nightmares for a young child I would have thought. However... it looked incredibly gruesome lying there (which I normally would have liked) but it feels like a bad time to show pictures of bodies on beaches.

Instead, here's what I found on one of my many mad-rushing-up-Brighton's-hills-and-down-it's-dales episodes today. My Fitbit tells me I've done ten and a half miles, that's over 23,000 steps for those who care (eg me).  

Quite a few of those steps were from Hove to Brighton Library where I was supposed to meet a couple of ex students. But... no one there, on account of the fact that I got the date wrong. What a berk. Anyway, it's all calories burnt. Gasp.
