Paddling in Bassenthwaite

Here's Misty and her friend making the most of the good weather by cooling off in Bassenthwaite.  Went to a different part of the lake for a change and found a nice spot for lunch. 

I've been watching some blackbirds in the garden over the last couple of days gathering material for nest making, looks like there's a few nests about.  Looking forward to seeing the young ones.
