ANZAC Day is this Saturday and I have had two classes paint a field of poppies.  This is Ethan painting the stamens in his poppies.  He used just a little red unlike the other children who painted their poppies vivid red.  He made the bottom rows of poppies big and tried to make the poppies near the top smaller.  I take no credit for this idea because I found it on the net.  I am very fond of Ethan because he seems absorbed by whatever art task I give him.
