Dunes

Wading through the dunes on Hunting Island, looking out onto the Atlantic Ocean in idyllic sunny conditions..what could be better? Not a lot... well.............. another hummer possibly?  :)   

To the left on the massive pristine beach is the lighthouse and diving in onto the blue calm water, which you can see here, were the pelicans fishing. Coated in bug repellant we ventured down to another tree graveyard the other side of the nearest groyne before heading off to Hilton Head Island. Thank goodness the weather has improved!
