A rare one in these parts.

American Gold finches winter here in Arizona but prefer to be farther south.  I expect this male is on his way to his summer territory.  Taken through the kitchen window the IQ suffers somewhat.   For this image I increased the Exposure Compensation by 2 stops to bring out the dark feather detail.  I hope it shows after the upload.   A wonderful sunny day here, near 80F.
