Arrivals.

Decent enough flight from Edinburgh to Lanzarote and I got through a big chunk of my book of Raymond Carver stories that I've not read for over twenty years. Dirty realism passed the time rather satisfyingly.

And then within about 45 minutes of landing we had been duly transferred and deposited at the villa and were in the pool and sampling some of the very nice indeed Estrella Del Sur cerveza that the inlaws-in-the-villa-elsewhere had stocked the fridge with in advance of our arrival. 19 cents a can, that's 15 pence for those not familiar with the current Sterling/Euro exchange rate. Ridiculous.
