No tractor today....

...a painting by Charlie Harper on our daughter's wall. Think I need to get back to my quiet country life, I never was a townie! We got back to our daughter's flat tonight to find the upstairs occupants crammed into the tiny area in front of her window with three portable bbqs going. We let them finish the cooking which was quite frightening really as there was a lot of flames and smoke.

After they finished I went and asked them very nicely not to do it again as it was quite dangerous and it all got very unpleasant and I was accused of being a rascist, and how they didn't have any garden and our daughter had one at the back too. A lot of whisky had been consumed during the cooking. Oh I hate that sort of thing and hope by speaking out I will have made things difficult for our daughter.

I'm not a drinker but I think a little tot of brandy might be required.
