a wild day

For an hour before work and an hour after I had one of the wildest of days, that is in terms of wildlife. This morning I was lucky to see the peregrine seconds after he caught this jay. Then after work I got lovely shots of water vole, woodpecker, LTT, moorhen and mallard which I would have blipped any other day. At home we have a hedgehog in the garden and the BlueTit cam is suggesting there may be eggs, Mrs BT appears to be sitting them dutifully, but need absolute confirmation rather than a bit fuzzy video so far. **this morning she has left the nest and revealed 3 lovely eggs**
